We are loving these necklaces and think that you will too for a long time to come. In order to help with that, we want to let you know how to care for your Calm Strips Necklace to get the most out of it.
We use a high-quality 304 medical-grade stainless steel. This stainless steel is corrosion resistant, which is why it is widely used in both jewellery and in the kitchen (Note: Please don’t try to stir your soup with your Calm Strips Necklace... we do not recommend that.) This means it will hold up to the elements. It can however, like most things, scratch, so just be gentle!
Having said all of that, we know it will hold up to getting wet occasionally but we don’t recommend it being subjected to prolonged exposure to pool or salty ocean water. When it comes time to wash your necklace, simply use warm water and a mild dish soap to rinse and then air dry.
