Kiddies Food Kutter and Safety Peeler Pack
Contains one Kiddies Food Kutter plus one Safety Food Peeler
Kiddies Food Kutter
The Kiddies Food Kutter is perfect for getting kids involved in meal preparation and cutting their own dinner on the dinner plate, teaching fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, independence, and confidence. Suitable for all skill levels for children 2 years onwards, left and right handed, and for kids with special needs or a disability. This safety knife can be used to cut everything from soft fruit to hard vegetables. Mum and Dad can spend dinner time eating – not cutting! The Kiddies Food Kutter teaches and encourages children to learn dinner table etiquette.
How to use the Kiddies Food Kutter.
Step 1.
Hold the Kiddies Food Kutter safety knife in either your left or right hand.
Step 2.
Hold the vegetable firmly in the other hand and use a sawing action to cut. Start the sawing action with soft fruit and vegetables like apple and zucchini to build up confidence and independence, then introduce carrots and harder vegetables.
Adult supervision is still required!
Safety Food Peeler
The food peeler designed especially for kids!
The Safety Food Peeler is bladeless and designed to enable all children to be able to delight in the opportunity to peel. Now children of all ages can help prepare food with a peeler that doesn’t use a blade!
It is suitable for kids 3 years onwards, left or right-handers, the disabled, adult left-handers, the elderly with arthritis and dementia. It requires little strength to use – in fact, the lighter you slide it along, the better result! Pushing down is not required, it is the angle and the sliding action that enables the clever design to peel. ‘Perfectly safe meets perfect design’ – all this and it is BPA free, dishwasher safe and 100% Australian made & owned!
Step 1.
Hold the peeler in either your left or right hand. Place your index finger on the moulded fingerprint.
Step 2.
Slide the peeler down the carrot or vegetable slowly, removing the outer skin. Only light pressure is required. The peel should come off in a long ribbon. If it doesn’t, simply change the angle of the peeler.
Adult supervision is still required!
